Delete your sync account or data
The current Android release has no cloud sync and no account to delete. Here is how to delete your learning data and ask us to delete any data we hold.

This page is for JS Insights for CFA® Level I (2027) on Android, package uk.co.jsinsights.levelistudy, published on Google Play by JS INSIGHTS LTD.
No cloud account in the current Android release
The current Android release does not offer cloud sync. It has no Google sign-in, Firebase account or JS Insights account, so no cloud or sync account exists to delete. Your notes, handwriting, progress and bookmarks stay on your device and are not sent to JS Insights. If a later release adds optional sync, this page will explain how to delete that account and its synced data.
Delete your learning data in the app
Open More > Delete learning data and confirm. This permanently deletes from that device your notes (including Recently deleted notes), handwriting and drawings, unsaved handwriting drafts, progress, study plan, question history, bookmarks and any saved mock exam. Your Google Play purchase stays restorable, and downloaded recordings stay on the device. Repeat this on each device you use. Uninstalling the app removes all of its private data from that device, including downloaded recordings and the saved purchase confirmation.
Ask us to delete data
Email contact@jsinsights.co.uk from the email address you use with Google Play, with the subject Delete my JS Insights Level I data, and say what you would like deleted. You do not need to have the app installed. We may need proportionate information to confirm the request is yours. Never send a password, sign-in code, payment-card details or purchase token.
What JS Insights holds
- No account or learning data: JS Insights does not receive your notes, handwriting, answers or progress.
- Purchase verification: purchase tokens and access codes are processed only in memory while a request is handled; the service keeps no record of them.
- Free course-audio access: the Cloudflare audio service never receives account details and does not store Play Integrity tokens. It keeps only hashed rate-limit counters: per-minute counters for up to about 20 minutes and daily counters until the next midnight (UTC); see Course audio downloads.
- Support correspondence: deletion emails and the record of our response are normally retained for no longer than 24 months after the last relevant contact, as explained in our privacy policy. A longer period may be needed for an unresolved dispute or legal obligation.
What remains with Google or your device
- Google Play purchases: purchase history remains with Google Play. Deleting your data does not refund or cancel a one-time purchase.
- Advertising: if you see ads, Google AdMob processes advertising data under Google's policies. You can change choices in the app under More > Ad privacy choices where shown and manage your advertising ID in Android's settings.
- Android backups: manage these through your device or backup provider. Restoring a backup may restore local records. Exported PDFs remain wherever you saved or shared them.
Timing and confirmation
In-app deletion takes effect on the device straight away. For email requests, we aim to complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a request we can verify and will confirm the outcome by email. If verification, a technical issue or a legal requirement affects completion, we will explain the outstanding steps and any applicable retention.
See Requesting deletion of your data (Android) in the Mobile App Privacy Policy for both Android study apps, purchases, providers and your privacy rights.
